New Skater Team Tryouts and Placements 2021 - 2022


All Tryout Submissions are to be sent to: [email protected]

You will receive a confirmation e-mail once you submit your Bio and Videos. Our coaches will review your submission and we will reach out within 24 hours with an assigned date(s) for on-ice clinics

The sooner you submit your videos, the faster we can get you in for on-ice sessions! Clinic assignments will be on a rolling basis, please get your submissions in early!

During this tryout season we are assigning on-ice clinic dates to ensure that we are abiding by Covid-safe capacity rules.

RETURNING TEAM SKATER TRYOUTS AND PLACEMENTS 2021 - 2022

Step 1: Register online for the team you wish to tryout for (i.e., Juvenile, Intermediate, or Novice)
In order to control the number of skaters on the ice, you will be invited to a specified tryout clinic after we receive your registration.

Registration closes Sunday February 21st.
All New Skater Videos and Biographies are due not later than: Sunday February 28th.

Age and Skating Requirements


JUVENILE
U.S. Figure Skating requires athletes to be under age 13 (as of July 1) and have passed the pre-juvenile moves in the field test. To field a strong, competitive team, Team Image prefers the athletes to have passed their Juvenile Moves in the Field Test, and be working towards their Bronze Dance and Preliminary Free Skate Tests.


INTERMEDIATE
U.S. Figure Skating requires Intermediate athletes to be under age 19 (as of July 1) and have passed the juvenile moves in the field test.  To field a strong, competitive team, Team Image prefers the athletes to have passed their Juvenile Moves in the Field Test and be working toward their Pre-Silver Dance and Pre-Juvenile Free Skate Tests.


NOVICE
U.S. Figure Skating requires Novice athletes to be under age 19 (as of July 1) and have passed the intermediate moves in the field test. To field a strong, competitive team, Team Image prefers the athletes to have passed their Novice Moves in the Field Test and be working toward their Silver Dance and Juvenile Free Skate Tests.
